Warranty

Jolong warrants its products are of good and merchantable quality, and are free from defects or faults in composition and manufacture. Jolong undertakes the following:

1. To provide general product warranty for its aluminum frame, glass attachment and surface paint: for seven (7) years from supply (subject to damage and exemptions outlined in clause 5 below);
2. To provide general product warranty for Hardware, built-in shutters, screen doors (windows) and accessories (including pulleys): for two (2) years from supply (subject to damage and exemptions outlined in clause 5 below);
3. After the expiry of the general product warranty period, Jolong agrees to attend repair work and agrees to waive cost of one technician at all time. In order to avoid confusion, if a technician is required to check the door and window failures, Jolong agrees not to charge any fees; if one technician is required to replace parts, Jolong agrees to charge only the costs of parts; if two technicians are required to replace large glass panel, Jolong agrees to only charge for costs of glass and one technician;
4. The general product warranties commence from the date of delivery;
5. The warranty does not include:
       a) Any damages caused by non-Jolong employees after delivery;
       b) Any damage or malfunction caused by installation work not in accordance to Jolong manual;
       c) Any damages or malfunction caused by disassembly or modification of the structure not in accordance to Jolong manual;
       d) Any damages or malfunction caused by failure to carry out product maintenance in accordance to Jolong manual.
6. Jolong shall have the sole discretion to construe and interpret the above terms.
